Cavaliers Deal Raiders 3-2 Loss
|
In a low-scoring affair between the Columbus Cavaliers and the Tuscon Raiders, pitcher Tony Matamoros was the difference between victory and defeat. The Columbus right-hander earned accolades in the 3-2 Cavaliers win. The Cavaliers now have a record of 24-23.
The clutch hit was provided by Bobby Santana. He delivered a walk-off run-scoring single off Jerry Rouse in the bottom of the 11th.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Tuscon manager Lookie Wookie said following the tough loss.
