Cazarez Reaches 1000 Milestone

Brooklyn's Leo Cazarez entered the record books today as he collected hit number 1000 at Navigator Stadium.
"I am proud of this. Not too many players reach this level. You have to be around quite a few years and you have to get a lot of hits," Cazarez said after the game.
On his milestone day he went 1 for 4 as the Brawlers won 9-1 over the NOVA Navigators.
Cazarez is hitting .290 lifetime with 1000 hits, 155 doubles, 6 triples, 233 home runs and 674 RBIs to date. He has scored 572 runs, walked 445 times and has a .378 OBP.
