The home crowd had a good time watching the Orlando Aces and Richmond Kings get after it.
Richmond Kings starter Nick Patton pitched his team past the Orlando Aces, 6-1. Richmond is now 5-1.
Patton was in the zone all game. He frustrated Orlando hitters while giving the Kings 7 innings of quality work. Patton threw 96 pitches, allowing 2 hits and getting 9 punchouts.
