Spitler Hits 2 home runs in Keys Win
Behind a solid performance from left fielder Matt Spitler, the Kansas City Keys defeated the Anchorage Whalers, 6-0. Spitler went 2 for 2 with 2 home runs and 3 walks. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Keys. The save went to Alberto Roman, his 1st this season. Kansas City, at 45-16, is 5 games up in the Frontier League Heartland.

Spitler had a key at-bat for Kansas City early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 16th home run of the season and gave Kansas City an early 2-0 lead.
