The Louisville Lightning grabbed a win, 10-2, over the Sacramento Sluggers at Cyberdyne Systems Stadium. Louisville catcher Andy Whitestone was 2 for 5 with a home run, a triple, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Joe McWilliams earned the save for Louisville, his 1st. Louisville, with the win, is 6-3.
With Louisville leading 2-0 in the top of the first, Whitestone hit a circle change from Walton Dyke for a 2-run triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Lightning ahead, 4-0.
"This kind of win will certainly make our fans happy," Whitestone told the Louisville Today.
