Navigators Reel-In 5-3 Win Over Raptor Boats
|
A good performance from second baseman Tommy Leavitt helped the NOVA Navigators defeat the Raleigh Raptor Boats, 5-3. Leavitt was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Navigators. Ray Ray earned the win for NOVA. He lasted 5.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 2. With the win, he raised his record to 1-1. The Raptor Boats drop to 5-8 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2055 season.
Tristan Hogan, the former first round draft pick , had a direct impact on the outcome. Hogan contributed a 2-run triple in the top of the fourth inning to put NOVA up, 3-1.
"You come to the ballpark to do your job and that's what I did today," Hogan told the NOVA Citizen.
