Richmond Kings starter Willie Santiago turned in an exceptional performance against the Mexico City Blazers at Douglas MacArthur Studium, resulting in a Richmond win, 4-0. Richmond is now 8-10, Mexico City 7-11.
Santiago was in the zone all game. He frustrated Mexico City hitters while giving the Kings 8 innings of quality work. Santiago threw 95 pitches, allowing 1 hit and getting 4 punchouts.
