Revolution Stay Hot, Beat Brawlers, 4-1
|
New York Revolution pitcher Steven Mesh was in fine form, leading his team past the Brooklyn Brawlers, 4-1. The save went to Caleb Louden, his 7th this season. The Revolution, at 14-9, have now won 5 straight.
The Revolution got a big at-bat from catcher Justin Kay. For the game, Kay was 1 for 4 with a triple. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 3rd triple of the season gave New York a 1-0 lead.
"I like how we're playing right now," said Kay.
