The Mexico City Blazers got a superb performance from pitcher Ben Warren. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Raleigh. The Raptor Boats won the game, 4-3. Warren threw 7.0 innings allowing 3 runs. The current losing streak for Mexico City has reached 5 games.
Raleigh used the timely hitting of David Carr to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Raptor Boats on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"It was a good effort all around," said Carr.
