Navigators Deal Crusaders 7-4 Setback
|
Tristan Hogan helped his team muscle past the Columbia Crusaders, 7-4. In the game, the NOVA left fielder was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. John Broccoli picked up the save, his 1st. NOVA goes to 20-34, Columbia to 21-33.
Hogan had a game-changing double in the bottom of the sixth. On a 3-1 fastball from Josh Chambers, he banged a run-scoring double to left-center, giving the Navigators a 5-4 lead. It was the 15th double of the year for Hogan.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Hogan. "And not try to do too much."
