The Tampa Crocodiles picked up a win at Freedom Lake, taking down the Hamilton Hitters, 8-5. Starting pitcher Mike Hansen was a big reason why. Keith Lyon got credit for the save for Tampa. It was his 13th of the year. Tampa raised its record to 29-29 with the win.

The Crocodiles got a big hit from first baseman Neil Hottman. In the bottom of the fifth, Hottman pounded a 2-run double to right-center. His 11th double of the season put the Crocodiles ahead, 4-1.

Hottman told a Tampa Chronicle reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
