The Columbia Crusaders got a superb performance from pitcher Chris Schrock, but the Tampa Crocodiles still won the game, 5-4. Schrock threw 6.2 innings allowing 2 runs. The win for the Crocodiles lifted their record to 36-33.

The Crocodiles were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when designated hitter Mike Poe turned a full count fastball from Steve Rabon into a bases-clearing double. The walk-off double electrified the Freedom Lake denizens and sent the Crocodiles home with a thrilling 5-4 win.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Poe said.
