The Columbia Crusaders thumped the New York Revolution, 10-2, at Segra Park. Jaden Tolson was a big reason his team got the win. Tolson was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Steve Broxterman picked up the win in relief for Columbia, while Ben Beane took the loss. The Crusaders now have a record of 24-47.

The Revolution had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Crusaders going into the bottom of the second inning. That changed quickly when the 23-year old center fielder Ray Wright came to the plate. Wright hit a 2-run double on a first pitch curveball from New York hurler Ben Beane. It was Wright's 19th double of the year.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Tolson said after the game.
