Pittsburgh Advances to World Series Sunday, August 19th , 2046
The Pittsburgh Monongahelas have eliminated the Hamilton Hitters and are off to the World Series.
Pittsburgh won the final game by a 13-5 score and thus clinched the series 4-2.
"We think this is our year, but we're taking it one game at a time," said Caleb Wegmann, who was named series MVP.
For the series, Wegmann hit .364 with a .481 on-base percentage. He drove in 13 RBI and scored 7 runs.
The Pittsburgh Monongahelas don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the San Juan Defenders - New York Revolution series. San Juan leads the series 3 games to 2. The World Series is scheduled to begin on August 21st , 2046.
