Atchison Rocks Bombers for 3 HRs

Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Raptor Boats-Bombers game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball.
Raleigh left fielder Aidan Atchison thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Raleigh to a 8-1 win over Atlanta.
"Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Atchison said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run."
Atchison was 4-for-5 on the day with 5 runs batted in.
Aidan Atchison doubled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Isiah Cobb in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Isiah Cobb in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Paul Blake in the 7th.
To date Atchison has chalked up a .319 average with 4 home runs, driven in 10 runs and scored 11 times.
