Kansas City Trades to Tampa for Brown Saturday, May 14th , 2050 It took some time to iron out the details, but the Keys and Crocodiles have agreed to a swap. Tampa will get a 2nd round draft pick, a 4th round draft pick, a 5th round draft pick, a 6th round draft pick, and a 7th round draft pick with Kansas City receiving 25-year old LHP Mike Hansen and 24-year old RHP Omar Brown in return. A source close to the trade talks said the two clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal. Brown's career stats include a 4-10 record, 111.2 innings, 105 strikeouts, and a 6.21 ERA. |
