Keys, Sluggers Swap Players Wednesday, May 27th , 2054 The Kansas City Keys have made a deal sending 21-year old RF Randy Threatt, 20-year old RHP Ben Peterson, 33-year old 3B Bobby Frausto, 22-year old CF Brian Morgan, a 1st round draft pick, a 2nd round draft pick, a 4th round draft pick, a 6th round draft pick, and a 7th round draft pick to the Sacramento Sluggers for 26-year old RHP Ryan Bushaw, 28-year old RHP Matt Shepherd, and 34-year old RHP Damian Sandoval. Both sides are said to be pleased with the way the trade worked out. Sacramento will retain a portion of Shepherd's remaining contract. Frausto is presently hitting at a .263 pace with no home runs and 2 RBIs. He has played in 14 games and scored 5 times. Season-to-date Bushaw has 4 saves in 8 relief appearances with a 1-1 mark and 1.29 ERA. |
