Dykstra Tames Seawolves, 4-0 Saturday, May 30th , 2054 The San Diego Seawolves had no answer today for NOVA Navigators pitcher Ben Dykstra. They failed to score a single run against him, losing 4-0. San Diego managed only 6 hits off Dykstra, who had 7 strikeouts. The extraordinarily popular Dykstra got a standing ovation from the hometown crowd as he left the field, the applause continuing until he returned from the dugout to tip his cap to the crowd. "Navigators fans are the best fans, in my opinion," he said. "It's a great feeling to throw a shutout under any circumstances but to do it with the crowd behind you like that is just incredible."
